In this course, students will explore environments, ecosystems, energy flow and organism interactions by creating a scale model biodome. The first 2 days, students will research and explore environments, energy flow, food chains, basic needs of plants and animals, and the importance of decomposition. Then throughout the last 3 days students will use what they have learned to build a model biodome following the steps of the engineering design process.
