In this class, students will have a fun-filled experience putting on short plays and collaborating with other students in small groups. Students will learn ways to bring a character to life through gestures, voices, and body movements. They will also use creativity and imagination to make set pieces and basic costumes with craft supplies. We will explore key literary elements, such as character traits and conflict resolution, helping students understand how plays and stories are created. Whether new to theater or experienced, all students will enjoy this exciting opportunity to act and create.
